TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS
Every neighborhood matters. Not just the ones getting the most attention.
Tampa isn't one neighborhood. It's dozens of communities, each with it's own history, problems and priorities.
Too often, residents tell me they feel their part of Tampa has been forgotten while attention and investment seem to go elsewhere.
I don't believe that is how a city should work.
As I visit neighborhoods across Tampa, I want to hear directly from the people who live there. What's working? What's not? What has been promised? What does the neighborhood need to flourish?
As I visit more communities, this section will grow to show more and more neighborhoods and their unique needs.
WHERE I'M STARTING
I'm Starting with Sulphur Springs
I know this neighborhood and spent a lot of my childhood here. I believe this neighborhood deserves renewed attention.
This neighborhood is rich with history, challenges-- and enormous potential.
I'll be looking at East Tampa, West Tampa, South Tampa, New Tampa, North Tampa—and every neighborhood in between. Instead of hearing from City Hall what they need, I want to talk to the residents who actually live there and have them tell me the issues.
